I think {lo vrici gugde} is fine:

{ lo (so'o) vrici gugde } ~> { lo poi'i ke'a gugde (gi'e so'o mei) gi'e 
vrici (lo ka du) } ~> { lo (so'o) gugde poi vrici (lo ka du) }

I think that including {so'o} would be unnecessary, because I think {lo 
pa mei cu vrici} doesn't make much sense.
