You mean in sentences like "if you take the bus, you'll surely be late?".

If that is in the sense that "taking bus will cause being late" I would use an abstraction.

I can't think of other examples, at the moment.

By the way in English, I think I'll try to use the word "one" instead of the general-you; it's a lost art. I can't tell you* how many times I've accidentally insulted people with the "general you".
