If a brivla contains 'y', that 'y' is always an interfix at a morpheme
boundary. Changing all syllabic consonants to /yS/ would break that rule. If
the syllabic consonant happens to be 'm' (which is never an interfix itself),
this could cause problems with analyzing into morphemes because there are
initial clusters beginning with 'm'. Thus a zi'evla "brodmrastu" would become
"brodymrastu", which is a lujvo.
There is no ambiguity in "anlnda". It is "an,ln,da", because "nln" is not a
possible syllable.
