I would argue that, unless I'm misunderstanding it's purpose, mw.lojban.org should have had English as it's default language all along.

This is a wiki *about* lojban. If you want a wiki *in* lojban, start translating wikipedia.

It's jbo.wikipedia.org I suggest using it for purely Lojban articles.

As for mw.lojban.org it's mostly not even worth translating articles on it, most of them are either of historical interest or for speakers of English.

Finally I can see that some search engines are able to select mediawiki's pages in other languages. But Google doesn't seem to catch on. If anyone has any ideas feel free to share them.
