I can only suppose that this gismu encoding the notion of "humans don't have any finer distinctions, no subspecies, no races, nothing". Given that their diversity is indeed low compared to e.g. apes it makes sense.

If you want to express the notion of humans as having finer distinctions like "race", "political view", "shoe size" then I suppose you need to propose a new brivla.
