[lojban] {bridi} is not a word for quoting clauses/sentences (BPFK decision)

Just a message to non-speakers of Lojban.

BPFK apparently voted against having {bridi} as a word for quotations like {mi prami do}

https://groups.google.com/d/topic/bpfk-list/V1TNzpGE3XI/discussion

Previous definition of {bridi} wasn't precise enough.

The new one is more precise:
"bridi = x1 (du'u) is a predicate relationship with relation x2 among arguments (sequence / set) x3."

The correct usage is
{.i lo du'u mi prami do cu bridi lo ka prami vau mi ce'o do}

Several new words are proposed to quote parts of lo bridi:

brisni = x1 (text) represents a predicate relationship with relation represented by x2 (text) among referents of x3 that are arguments (sequence/set of texts). {bridi}, {selbri} and elements of terbri are referents of {brisni}, {selbrisni} and elements of {terbrisni} respectively.

Additionally,
{selbrisni} is equal to {se brisni}.
{terbrisni} is equal to {te brisni}.

Therefore, it's correct to say {i lu mi prami do li'u brisni zo prami zo mi ce'o zo do}.

The whole reason for this decision seems to be rooted in de facto mixing abstractions and quotations.
After this split such confusion will no longer arise.

As la xorxes noted (he used the word {briju'a} instead of {brisni}):
> .i ui nai bau lo glico ma'a du'e roi pilno zo bridi lo nu tavla fi lo briju'a

which roughly translates as "We in English use the word "bridi" too much when actually talking about lo briju'a."
