Bob Chassell was a figure in the Fre Logan movement swell and worked hard in the dying days of the stakeholder-owned and guided Logan Institute to get a reasonable Board elected and to continue some user input into policy. It didn't work, of course, and everyone involved knew it wouldn't, but Bob soldiered on to after the bitter end. He stayed on with Logan for a wile even after, when many left.
He was one of the highlights of the early Logfests in York ME ad just generally a fun, bright, companion (and conspirator). I'm sorry to hear of his decline and now is death.
