Not. "Pakistan" began as an acronym for the five provinces of British India that it was intended to contain: Punjab, Afghan (Northwest Frontier), Kashmir, Sindh, BaluchiSTAN. The "i" was for euphony. It can also be interpreted in Urdu as "land of the pure", but that was discovered after the fact.
