Well, Lojban has a required individual/mass/set distinction, so we could try using that instead: ro lo'i do se ponse li mi'o, or some such silliness. On top of that, "base" is ambiguous: is it tersaclu, jilka, terdugri, zbepi, or jicmu? phma
