"Measure" words in Lojban apply directly, they don't use an intermediary name of the measured property: ta ki'ogra li ci "That kilograms 3." ko'a nanca li civo "He years 34." ta rupnu li paci "That dollars 13." You don't need to go through "the weight of that is", "his age is", "the price of that is".
