(But I think you sort of missed Evgeny/Pierre's point, which is that something like /xirosima/ & /xukusima/ is consistent not necessarily with a mapping between Lojban phonetics and Japanese phonetics but with a mapping between Lojban phonology and Japanese phonology.) --And.
