One reason the sections I wrote don't follow the template format is
that many of them were done before the standard template was
implemented.
But the main reason I continue to prefer my format is that I find the
results of the template unreadable. It crowds the page with irrelevant
information "this is a definition", "these are examples", "these are
keywords", and the actual part that needs to be highlighted, namely
the word being defined, is lost in a sea of pointless headings.
If and when the template is needed for some eventual automatic
processing of the content, then I will be happy for the pages under my
direct responsibility to be reformatted into ugly format, but for the
time being please leave them in readable form.
