metric prefixes

(In this message I'm using {lo} for Kind, following the 2nd Excellent Solution.)

How do we use a predicate like:

kilto [ ki'o ] 1000 ; metric 'kilo'
x1 is a thousand [1000; 1x10**3] of x2 in dimension/aspect x3
(default is units)

It seems to me that the x2 has to be a Kind or a number. What
else could you have a thousand units of? So for example:

ta kilto lo plise
Those are 1000 (units of) apples.

ta kilto lo plise le ka ce'u grake makau
That's 1000 of apples in how much it grams.

ta graki'o lo plise
That's 1kg of apples.

where:

graki'o: x1 is a kilogram of x2 (by standard x3)

We can also have:

li 34000 kilto li 34 (le ka ce'u pilji ce'u makau)
34000 is a thousand of 34.

and then we can derive:

ki'ogra: x1 is x2 kilograms (by standard x3)

from:

ko'a grake lo kilto be ko'e bei le ka pilji kei ko'i

This justifies the use of the metric prefixes as prefixes.
