[jbovlaste] dispute about konjaku
I defined this word back in 2003 as "x1 is konjac of species/variety x2" with
a note "see also samcrtaro, samcu". The scientific name is Amorphophallus
konjac; it's an arum whose corm is used to make a sort of jelly. I thought
that referring to taro, another corm in the arum family, would make it clear
what the word means.
jongausib entered a definition in Swedish which says that it's a kind of
brandy from southwest France. This was defined last November to be
called "koinka". I don't know Swedish. Could someone who does explain to
jongausib what the arum is?
