yes but that can lead to bad habits.  If you ever see me say {mi ranji lo nu zutse} please correct me because even though "x1 continues to perform activity/event x2" seems more useful for "continue" that doesn't seem to be how it is supposed to be used.

And yeah, based on {zutse} it seems like it's an action, although, I think I would interpret it differently in different circumstances.  For instance, if someone said {mi ca zutse lo stizu} I would probably think that they are in a state of sitting in a chair.  But if they say {mi bazi zutse lo stizu} I would think of it as more of an action.

Can you remember, without looking, whether "zutse" is supposed to be
state or change of state? (In fact I can't be sure even after
looking.)

Some gismu definitions have been changed in minor ways in the past.

The way I go about it is just to ignore bad definitions. (Although by
bringing this up I suppose I'm not ignoring it. I should have said
nothing and let nature take its course.)
