[lojban-beginners] getting my head about place structures

Hi,

I'm trying to get my head around place structures. I understand them
in principle, but wouldn't mind being able to see them in action
before I have picked up the general language.

One thing that has helped me pick up some Chinese grammar was
listening to Chinese speak 'Chinglish' which is pretty much Chinese
grammar with English words substituted in.

Would it be possible to get hold of some lojban text with familiar
English words substituted for the lojban words?

Possibly a dictionary-substitution-based machine translation. I read a
good deal of machine-translated Chinese anyway, so I am quite used to
it ;-)

regards,
