[lojban-beginners] Re: web comics translated into Lojban
I don't know. Mainly because I don't want to think about how to
translate "Look, but gee I sure hope you don't find anything," I think
just telling him to look down there does well enough. I'd like to
place {.ii} or {.iisai} at the beginning, though, to suggest that kind
of undertone and also make the kid sound a little less nonchalant about
the proposed monster hunt.

I advocate a simpler (and pe'i more useful) place structure
for {sisku}: "x1 seeks/searches for x2 in/among x3", so
that would look like:
{pe'u patfu ko sisku lo pacycrida le cnita be le ckana be fi mi}
I see some difference between "try to find a monster there"
and "check that there isn't any monster there" though.
Doesn't the {ko sisku} version suggest that the kid wants
him to find one?
