[lojban-beginners] Re: mi tavla fi lo fasnu be fau tu'a ko'a

Forgive me for switching to English here... but isn't the reason that jboski doesn't undestand "cu'u fi'e ko'a" that there needs to be something between cu'u and fi'e?  Can a modal directly be followed by a modal?  What does it mean?  Doesn't it need an  argument like "cu'u ko'a fi'e ko'a"?  Is there any kind of logical or non-logical connectives that can go between modals?  I assume what we're shooting for here is something like "is created and said by X"...?

BTW, betsemes (if you're still listening),  can I assume the original quote means something like, "those who ridicule what they know nothing about are ignorant"?
