I will try... The Lojbanic ['] is usually pronounced like the English h... not like the Scottish ch or either the hard or soft ch of German or the Greek version(s). Imagine a cold winter day where you want to make a cloud of you breath -- that is the approximate consonant you would use. The throat is fully open and relaxed, as are the lips -- there is no constriction, and no real motion of the glottis or uvula or lips or tongue. It's a simple puff of air through an open pipe.
