Indeed. Cmevla can be stressed however the speaker/writer wants; in
writing you indicate non-standard stress by capitalising the
appropriate syllable(s). Lack of capitalisation indicates the usual
penultimate stress.
The following are precisely equal in meaning:
.uicoimi'e.djAnatan..iminelcitavlado
.ui coi mi'e djAnatan. .i mi nelci tavla do
interestingly enough, jbofihe couldn't parse the former: it didn't
catch {nelcitavlado} as {nelci tavla do}, which provides a fairly good
reason ton keep the spaces (which are completely optional) in written
Lojban, other than the obvious reason- making it easier to read.
