Note that the contrast of days and nights calls for {donri}/{nicte},
not {djedi}. I suggest something like:

.i clani fa lo donri pe lo nuncortu zi'e poi mi renvi fi'o sruri lo ko'a bitmu
.ije clani fa lo nicte pe lo nunynonkansa .i ma pau nai kakne lo nu
cliva lo vo'a nuncortu .e lo vo'a nunynonkansa gi'e nai xenru

{fi'o sruri lo ko'a bitmu} would seem to work (assuming {ko'a} for whatever
"its" refers to.)

{se ru'u} would be nice for {fi'o sruri}, but it is currently not grammatical.
