[lojban-beginners] dakfu and gismu definitions

Does dakfu include swords and other non-knife bladed weapons and tools?  What are the limits of what a dakfu is?  

This question also pertains to many other gismu.  One is cukta.  What definition of 'book' is used in the definition of cukta?
