How does one distinguish between long as in spatial dimensions, and long as
in time? The Chinese have two words for these concepts, and this ambiguity
in English is often a source of confusion ("Will the sausage be long?" to a
waiter, for instance. [zo'o]).
Translation exercise:
"I have longed for my long sausage a long time, when will it be along?"
