Not sure if the previous message got through...
Thanks everybody for the answers and comments. le na'e glico examples
(Russian, Spanish, Japanese) were quite instructive. I liked the idea of
"there is" treated as an observative. Btw, Georgian has different verbs for
"having" inanimate, or animate objects.
Now, back to the teaching materials and the lurking mode...
