In your last example, could the {tu'a} come before the {fi}?

 coi, Chris.  One small thing.  The second sumti of "ckire" is who
you are appreciative towards.  Since it's rather difficult to show
gratitude to a story, you want that in the X3 place (what you are
grateful about).  So you need to say either "mi ckire do tu'a li
lisri..." or "mi ckire zo'e tu'a lo lisri..." or "mi ckire zi'o tu'a
lo lisri...." or "mi ckire fi tu'a lo lisri....", etc.
