Wikipedia <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eta> says:
"In Modern Greek the letter, pronounced [Ëita], represents a close
front unrounded vowel, /i/. In Classical Greek, it represented a long
open-mid front unrounded vowel, /ÉË/."
So if that is right it's either Lojban "i" (Modern Greek) or Lojban
"e" (Classical Greek).
