Yes, because "be da bei de" is a valid fragment. You can't guarantee
that the linked arguments will correspond syntactically to "broda"
there, although semantically that is of course the obvious
interpretation.

Yes. Personally, I never elide the three types of terminators that
follow a "text", namely TOI, LIhU and TUhU, becuse I find the result
confusing. I would even suggest changing the grammar so that those
three are made not elidable, but that probably won't happen.
