Hi,

Shabdkosh is the best available version online, although not that good. Bhargav's print edition is the best Hindi dictionary.
Since very many Hindi words mean the same and can be used interchangingly, unlike in English, there might not be any differences listed. 
Also, using the Latin script is very difficult when working with Indian languages, since the characters available are too limited to fully describe all the Hindi characters.

OK but the number of words in it is somewhat limited.  Also, when there
are several words, there is no explanation of the difference.

For Arabic, I haven't found a free online dictionary that provides the Arabic
words in the Latin alphabet.

Any suggestions?
