Unfortunately lojban

Actually, neither "Lojban for Beginners" nor CLL even mention cmevla.  
CLL states: 'The final vowel distinguishes brivla from cmene, which 
always end in a consonant' (Chater 4 Section3).

No wonder everyone is confused!  Exactly where are cmene and cmevla 
definitively defined?
