For "there is only one dog", you can say "ro pa da cu gerku". You can also 
use "po'o" as Ian said, "pa da po'o cu gerku". "pa po'o da cu gerku" means 
that one is the only number of dogs that exist, which happens to mean the 
same thing, but is a strange way of putting it, and in other 
constructions "pa po'o" or the like may result in a weird meaning.
