"go'i" without "ra'o" does keep the referents the same, of whatever pronouns
are carried over from the referent of "go'i". I don't see what mistake you
think you made. If B explicitly says "mi", the referent of "mi" is B, but if
"mi" is carried over from the referent of "go'i" when A said it, the referent
of "mi" is A. "go'i ra'o" updates the referents of the pronouns that are
carried over.
