Well, computer braille is an atempt to fit all ascy characters into braille code. All punctuation maps to a single dot pattern, while in grade 2 English braille, there are alreaviation-like things, known as contractions, that were made to make braille faster to read and to minimize paper usage. I've now found a Lojban Dictionary app on the iOS app store. I'll probably be using that a lot. Hmm, I was thinking a while ago that it'd be pretty good if someone made an audio book on Lojban. I might do one someday. It'd also be good if books on Lojban were in the iBooks store and the Google Books stores.

Secondly, not being blind, I've never really delved into braille much, so I wasn't aware there's were any kinds other than the straight mapping of letter->bump code. This is news to me. What is "computer braille"?

I am new to the list, well I joined a month or so ago, but didn't write because I always forgot to do so. In my free time after school and sometimes during class, I read "An Introduction to Lojban". I gathered it from the website in a .txt, text, file and put it on my reading device. Note to all blind Lojbanists, you might prefer using computer braille when reading Lojban. Anyways, I'm a little past the chapter on quotations, and I might re-read some things, because I need to build up my vocabulary. I've also gotten a friend from school interested, and that friend is a little past learning about gismu and stuff. I don't really have any questions right now, just wanted you all to be aware of my presence on the list.
Oh wait, one question just made its way into my mind, I wonder, since there is an Esperanto braille code, I wonder if there will be a Lojban braille code. Braille, for anyone, well most of you, is the system blind people use to read. Perhaps computer braille will do, since its pretty universal, I think. Yes, computer braille would make since for a language that tries to be as usable by everyone as possible.
