[lojban-beginners] How to say 'spork'?
Hi,
I like sporks. As I habitually eat my food with a spork (portmanteau
of 'spoon' and 'fork'), I seriously zo'o need a word for 'spork'.
I tentatively propose:
??mucyjoifro: x1 is a spork/combined spoon and fork for use x2
The obvious disadvantage: That word is terribly long. I like sporks
and talk about them very much, and I'd prefer having a short word,
rather like 'spork' or German 'Göffel' ['gœfl̩]. So I further propose,
most tentatively:
??ucfo: x1 is a spork/combined spoon and fork for use x2 (etym.: from
'[sm]uc[i joi] fo[rca])
What do you think? Also on whether the additional places of 'smuci'
and 'forca' should better be kept in a word for spork?
-iesk
PS: Did I say I like sporks?
