[lojban-beginners] "One more than the current number of X"

Is there a way to quantify a sumti to mean "One more [than the current number of] X"? (Or any other number, not just one.)

For example:
"We need to recruit one more person."
"Two more missing children were found today."

I had thought of using "su'i pa da" / "su'i pa prenu", but jboski was not pleased. "za'u" seems to be the reverse of the meaning I need.

There are probably circumlocutions available, but it seems like it would be a useful form of sumti quantification.
