Yes, and Apsaroke (or Absaloge or other combinations thereof - their language
has fewer consonant phonemes) is their name for themselves, or rather what the
Hidatsa (closely related people) call them. It apparently referred to some
sort of corvid, hence the English name. Some other tribal names in Lojban are
tsalagi (Cherokee), siksika (Blackfoot), and nienke'a (Mohawk), all from
autonyms. For the Navajos, I say "bangrnabe'o", "kulnrnabe'o", etc. "Diné" is
the autonym, but "Navajo", from a neighboring language, is more widely used,
and is "Naabeehó" in Navajo.
