[lojban-beginners] Cmavo in gismu.txt?

Working on a flashcard deck and realized that there are a number of cmavo in the gismu wordlist.  Is that just because several of them have rafsi?  Also confusing is that several are defined as if they were gismu.

Specifically, "sedu'u" has a definition with x1 and x2, which is a little weird.
