  You are correct that the last sentence should have a "be" (but not your version which has "do'i" :-) ) I wonder why no one who has examined the story up to now 
has noticed (including me)?  Good catch.  I will change it.

One such thing would be the last sentence:

I think the {di'o} should attach to {le ty. zdani}, so it needs to be {le ty. zdani be do'i le cicricfoi} "his home in the jungle".

I could also take the liberty of correcting things myself, but then the danger is that I might "correct" things that the author did intend.
