"nitcu cpana" doesn't make sense, and I don't see where "bumru" comes from.
How about this?:

Thanks, Pierre. I hoped 'nitcu cpana' would imply a needful kind of "upon-ing". 'Bumru', I hoped, would suggest dewy along with 'carmi carvi'.

Anyway, as for yours, I really like 'minra dasni lo carvi'. Also, 'ne'a' is probably closer to the original in meaning. I was taking liberties. I'm struggling with 'funca', however...
