[lojban-beginners] Re: .i coi

Which booklets? Lojban for Beginners, Wave lessons?

There are a lot of things that aren't in the beginner guides because they would be out of the scope. They're all (except use of experimental words) contained in the CLL reference grammar, but that's something to read through later.

The main way to improve is, like with any language, to converse with more advanced speakers. Twitter works well, and you should soon get the standard group of followers (me included). Expect corrections. Others suggest IRC, but I've always found it empty and awkward. That might be a time zone thing. Find the groups on slower social networks, too. There's a group on Facebook and community on Google+.

When you want to learn vocabulary, use either Memrise or Anki (I think it's Anki; I remember there being Memrise and something else). A quick search should find the Lojban stuff.
