"ju'o cu'i" indicates that the speaker in not quite certain that the proposition is true. It corresponds to English "perhaps" or "maybe".

"da'i" indicates that the proposition is not factual. It corresponds to English "would".

  da'i la .alis. pu banli lo ka mamta
  Alice would have been a great mother.
