[lojban-beginners] Translation of Number

I have a question of plurality in practice. This question is primarily directed to those who are fluent in Lojban and have done some considerable translation work from other languages.

I am wondering if you found the lack of plural forms at all "tiresome" (for lack of better way of putting it). In other words, did you constantly find yourself having to add "pa", "ro" or other quantifier in order to convey the intended meaning of the original?
