Re: [lojban-beginners] Translating manga into Lojban?

will you be working with the original Japanese or translating the English translation? And if you are going to use the original source, are you going to make it "sound Japanese" (e.g. lots of lojban's equivalents for honorifics, frequent pronoun dropping, topic-comment sentence structure ... )

I'm currently working on translating one or a few chapters of one of
my favorite manga series into Lojban. I don't know how good it'll turn
out, but I've been studying hard lately and I'm going to do some re-
editing, so it should all make sense. One thing I don't know, though:
if/when I finish, how should I go about putting it online? I've seen
online translations of actual books, such as - as every Lojbanist
knows - "Alice in Wonderland", as well as one of the Berenstein Bears
books. I've also seen some original Lojban comics. However, I'm not
sure if anyone's actually translated any manga before. Where/how
should I post it such that people will know about it and be able to
see it?
