I could use gema or a C library that I've made myself espacially for transforming text.

I guess, the best way would be if you could typeset a lojban text in TeX with all the rules you have figured out and I will try to infer the rules from the example. My TeX-fu is surely a bit rusty but I can dig out the TeXbook and see if I can get up to speed again.

BTW, is there any specific reason for TeX?
