Hi Lindar. My point, and others' as well if I have understood
correctly, is that theres is no such thing as EVERYTHING.
Nor in logic, where one either assumes or explicitly states an
interpretation, nor in usual speech.
The cases in which one wants to refer to a philosophical EVERYTHING
like we do in this discussion, is so rare that imposing that {roda}
means that special case seems overkill to me and not useful for those
really want to use Lojban in real cases.
i've asked, in another email, for some real use examples where the
interpreration of {roda} as this mythical EVERYTHING would be
necessary.
I offer an example where relying on the context seems reasonable to me:
{mi viska ro danlu .i roda gerku}
Is there really anyone interpreting the second as "EVERYTHING is a dog"?
