I don't have much experience coining words, but I thought I'd have a go.
What about something based on {vecnu} = sells and {jivna} = competes ?
jvive'u => v1 auctions v2=j4 to v3=j1 for cost v4
and then to translate "I attended the auction of the house" it would be { mi zvati lonu jvive'u lo zdani }. What do people think?
Also, is your name Sam Spade or Greg? uinai

(as in, where people bid cash for an item)
I couldn't find it in any of the dictionaries or on google.
I've left the thread title open for future use :-)
Thanks,
Greg
