"weil'nd" isn't Lojban; the letter "w" is not used, and "'" can occur only
between two vowels. I don't see anything else wrong with it, without seeing

To get "Francis Weiland Thurston", I suggest {la.fransis.ueiland.turston.} or {la francis.ueilynd.turston.} If you place a {.} at the beginning of the name, you can have {la} in it, otherwise, I think {ly} is the closest allowable sound.
