[lojban-beginners] Assigning ko'a

How do I assign KOhA to refer to sumti joined with a JOI ?

For example in:

  le plise ku jo'u le najnimre ku goi ko'a casnu .i ko'a sanga

the orange is the one singing. How can I make "ko'a" to refer to both the orange and the apple? In other words, how to render "them" ?

NOTE: this is just an example, I could use "gi'e" here with no need of "ko'a", the question is about assigning "ko'a", not how to translate the example.
