[lojban-beginners] Re: Thoughts on the website and resources

Thank you for the feedback. As a working parent myself, I understand
the constraints on time. I wish I could do more to help but I’m still
at the stage of learning “Yes please” and “No thank you” right now. In
the future, I’d like to start a blog based around learning Lojban,
though.

From what I’ve seen there are two motivating factors for learning
Lojban. One is the idea of learning/experimenting with a totally
logical language. The other is the idea of laying the foundations for
a potential international language.

Even if that second goal won’t be realised - at least not in our
lifetime - I still find it intriguing and it’s to that end that I
offered my thoughts on the web site and how it might be made even
better.

I think social media would be a great way forward, more promotion on
Facebook, maybe a word of the day on Twitter, more use of youtube
vids, etc. The podcast was ahead of its time,w hat a shame it was
stopped after three episodes. I understand this all takes effort and
time though.

Thanks again for letting me share my thoughts as a new user and if I
can be of any help, please let me know.
