I just use bilga in those cases.  I think of {bilga} as a more generic form of the english "should".  If you want to add connotation that is specific to the sentence you can tanruize it.  e.g. {mi kanro bilga lo nu sipna} for "I really should get to sleep (for my health)".  Or you could use .ai or .ei

nitcu, bilga, and sarcu are all similar, but they don't seem to have
quite the same connotations as the English words "should" or "ought".
For example,

.i mi nitcu lonu klama le zdani

Is not quite the same, because I might not *need* to go home, it would
just be beneficial in some way.

.i lonu mi klama le zdani cu sarcu

and

.i mi bilga lonu klama le zdani

and are not quite the same either. What is the best way to express
this idea? Is there some obvious gismu that I haven't noticed?
