  It has nothing to do with dotside.  Regardless of dotside.  Extra
interword pauses are always allowed.   When a brivla is used as a
cmene, if it's followed by another brivla, they will form a tanru....
both "la blabi" and "la blabi ractu" are valid cmene.  In order to
prevent it, you have to terminate the la (it terminates with ku when
it consists of a selbri, as here) either explicitily, or put in a cu
to terminate it implicitly.
